Imagine stepping straight from your lanai into the gentle current, letting the river carry you downstream until you reach a hidden stretch of sand. That’s the magic of River Estate’s paddle path — a quiet, soulful way to glide from home into nature’s embrace.
Behind the house, the river flows toward a private beach link. You paddle (or float) downstream, guided by water, plants, and birds. At the edge of sand, you step out, feel the texture of shoreline underfoot, and wander where few ever tread. When it’s time, you float or paddle back — upstream is slower, but rich with quiet moments.
You’ll want mid-tide to earlier high tide — that sweet window makes both float and paddle smooth.
Mid-morning into early afternoon tends to be calmest, with less wind and fewer surprises.
Avoid extreme low tide: rocky banks or mud flats can make the approach tricky.
I’ll send you tide charts in your welcome packet and help you pick the best morning to float.
Stable paddleboard or sit-on kayak
Dry bag for your phone, towel, snack
Reef-safe sunscreen + water
Water shoes or reef sandals
Life vest or floatation device
Never paddle after dark or in low visibility
Check current, wind, and rainfall before launching
You’ll see walls of green creeping closer, hear river water on rock, feel the slow rhythm of nature. As you glide, you might pause midstream — float, listen, breathe. On arrival, everything opens: the sand, the surf, the vista. Returning feels like resuming a sacred conversation with Valley, River, Sea.
Can kids do this? Yes — with supervision, calm water, life vests, and short paddle distances.
What if current is too strong? I’ll guide you to walk the beach route; we never risk safety.
Need a permit? No — this path is part of the guest access privilege.
What about night? Only paddle in full daylight. Use light only if needed.
When you book, I’ll share your paddle window calendar. On arrival, we review the conditions together.
For couples: float during golden hour, kiss under light.
For families: paddle in calm midday, laugh, play midstream.
